The 1972 DDO 7 shows class I rotated
hub doubling.   Doubling can be seen
on the date, LIBERTY, and IN GOD WE
TRUST.   This is one of the tougher
doubled dies to locate for the year.

There are over 9 different double die
obverses known for this year.   If it were
not for the existence of DDO 1, DDO's
2, 3, 7, and 8 would be much more
popular.  The each show strong class I
doubling.  DDO's 2, 4, 5 and 7 are
rotated counterclockwise, while DDO's
1, 3, 6 and 8 are rotated clockwise.
DDO 9 is class VIII doubling.
